Hi everyone, thank you for coming by and checking out my work!  I am currently on maternity leave until April 2015.  We are expecting our first baby and are so excited!

I am still accepting requests by email and am booking for Spring and Summer weddings and events.  Please use my contact form (located in the upper right of the menu bar) and let me know the details of your event.  I will be answering emails as time permits.

If you are in need of a makeup artist between now and April 1st, please check out my recommendations as I believe they are some of the best in Austin:

Maris Malone Calderon – Pearl Salon http://www.marismalonecalderon.com

Rhea McCarter – Adore Boutique and Salon http://www.adoremakeupsalon.com/

Thank you for your patience during this time.  I look forward to seeing you  in my makeup chair!

Carmen the Stunning Bride!

I work with Paige Newton of Paige Newton Photography often.  We shoot fashion and editorials together but she also selects a few, lucky brides per year to shoot their eclectic weddings.  She is not your average “wedding photographer” and her work stands out with its unique and fresh look at an event.

This shoot is no exception.  I am so excited to share these images of Carmen’s wedding at Mercury Hall.  Carmen is a performer by trade and she is not afraid of makeup.  We went with a dramatic yet ethereal look with full lashes and a touch of violet on her lids.  Her hair was styled by the oh-so-talented Shannon Briggs of Janet St Paul Hair Studio.

The results are stunning!  See the full wedding here on Paige’s Blog
