I finally picked up a copy of this months Brides Magazine to check out my bride Alisha as she was featured in the May issue! Alisha had a ceremony in Arizona and then came down to Texas (a little ranch outside of Fredericksburg) for her country-fied reception. This is where I had the opportunity to meet her, do her makeup and to hang out at this sweet venue (an airstream trailer for the bride decorated in all white vintage lace, perfection!). Alisha rode into the reception on the back of her hubby’s motorcycle, if that gives you any idea how fun this couple is. Not only did I help her feel beautiful with her natural yet classic look but I had a hand in keeping her calm, as I often do when my brides spend that last hour with me. So proud and honored that she even mentioned me in the article as her #2 favorite memory from BOTH of her events. Alisha and I are still in touch; as a matter of fact she has continued her passion for weddings by becoming a wedding event coordinator and I recently worked with one of her first clients two weeks ago. It warms my heart to know I touch my clients lives just as much as they touch mine.
